The Isle of Brandolay
... is located a short distance off of the shores of the City of Dohral. The region is the reputedly the home of some small trading villages/towns which have a loose political alliance and a growing distrust of their northern neighbors. Trade rivalries, political ambitions and just plain familial pride are aligning to make for rather dire circumstances throughout the region. Is your PC up for the intrigue?
NOW INCLUDED IN THE CORE MODULE are the main 'port of entry' for the isle, a small town/port commonly named Brandolay. The rest of this large isle is what we included in this 'BRANDOLAY' module.
Access to this island is via one of several ships' captains found along the many docks of the City of Dohral (in the CORE MODULE).
Why the Grudge?
Let it suffice that the towns of the Isle of Brandolay are older than the City of Dohral and have grown jealous of the city's rapid growth and prosperity. While in times past, the Isles served well as an emergency restocking site, the mainland city with its ready lumber supply and well-established services have largely supplanted the sleepy village stop-overs of recent memory.
When we split the BRANDOLAY into two, we added the 'main urban location' aka the city of Brandolay to the CORE MODULE and kept both the ISLE OF BRANDOLAY, along with numerous other offshore locations and far ports, and the SVOLBINWOADS as a separate module now designated as the BRANDOLAY MODULE. This has resulted in the addition of several new PORTS, which in turn allow for the EXPANSION to new locations for FUTURE EXPANSION PURPOSES. The island itself will present the PC with a wealth of established towns and the embedded political intrigues which are inevitable in such situations of proximity to neighboring communities and the wealth of trade flowing all around.
... is the Westernmost MODULE of the set that spans both coastal and offshore locations allowing for the telling of, the tales of hundreds of epic quests. The SVOLBINWOADS MODULE aka Svolbin is a place of unknowns and mystery. Little more can be said of it here and yet preserve the secrecy of these lands. Let it suffice that little clues of what can be found here do abound for those with an eye to see references as low as these.
The mysteries are so deep here, even how PLAYERs actually get here is largely unknown.
This module is intended as a wilderness and surprises of the most unusual nature and a true adventure-bonanza for those brave enough to attempt these difficult lands.
